A structured beginner class for elementary-age students ready to learn songs and chords.

Students ages 8-9 learn:

  • Reading simple melodies + TAB

  • Common open chords

  • Strumming patterns

  • Playing in time with others

  • Short ensemble pieces

The ideal starting point for most new students.

For older beginners ready to learn fast.

Students ages 10-12 learn:

  • Rhythmic accuracy

  • Note reading and TAB fluency

  • A full chord vocabulary

  • Harmonizing and playing parts together

Great for students who want a strong foundation before moving to more advanced study.
